Speculations suggest that the next OnePlus flagship will come out as a full lineup, with the OnePlus 3 having at least two versions.

According to TechRadar, the new OnePlus 3 lineup will feature a base model and a top-tier handset. Reportedly, though, only in speed and multitasking options will the two be different, as the base model will allegedly carry a 4GB RAM, while the premium edition will have a massive 6GB one. The two will feature the same Snapdragon 820 processors under the hood.

In addition, the base model is said to carry a 32GB onboard storage, while the top-tier version carries 64GB of storage capacity. It is expected that both editions will have expandable storage via microSD support.

While OnePlus has yet to confirm the rumor, a two-version lineup is plausible. OnePlus has already done it with the OnePlus 2, releasing 16GB and 64GB models.

Other rumored specs of the OnePlus 3 include an uptick in its battery, a 3,500 mAh one compared to the previous 3,300 mAh on the OnePlus 2; the QuickCharge 3.0 feature; a 5.5-inch display with 2.5D glass and full HD resolution; and Android 6.0.1 right out of the box.

Meanwhile, the rumors of OnePlus 3 making its debut soon seems plausible as supposed photos of the phone's body have started circulating online. Phone Arena says that the first images came from Weibo, so it is not certain whether the images really show the first glimpses of the OnePlus 3.

In addition, another indication that the new flagship may indeed be coming out soon is the price tag for the current flagship. OnePlus has already reduced the original price of the OnePlus 2, with the current-gen flagship now retailing for $349.
