OnePlus 4 is already the talk of the town just four months after its predecessor, the OnePlus 3, was released.

According to the latest reports, the OnePlus 4 will be launched a bit earlier than expected. Instead of June next year, the next so-called "flagship killer" from OnePlus will be out in May.

The early release will not affect the quality of the smartphone. The reports suggest that the OnePlus 4 will actually be a serious contender in the mobile scene and tackle the likes of giants such as the iPhone.

According to rumors, the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 processor, a major improvement from this year's Snapdragon 821 processor.

Qualcomm is currently working on the chipset, which is expected to be the best from the company yet. This processor will support up to 8 GB of RAM, and it is reported that OnePlus 4 will make use of that advantage.

If this pans out, OnePlus 4 will be one of the first smartphones to boast such a huge amount of memory. This is not a surprise, seeing that the OnePlus 3 also stood out easily by offering a 6 GB RAM.

As for the storage, the flagship is expected to come with a 64 GB version only, the same as its predecessor. It is unknown at the moment if the memory card slot will be included as last year's did not.

Meanwhile, rumors also claim that the OnePlus 4 will sport a 4K Quad-HD display, which should be much better from the OnePlus 3's Full HD display, a feat already great in itself.

Another exciting step up from the current-generation model is the 23-megapixel (MP) rear-facing shooter on the OnePlus 4, which should be miles better than the 16 MP on the OnePlus 3. At the front of the OnePlus 4 is reportedly a 16 MP selfie snapper.

Users can enjoy the wonders of the OnePlus 4 much longer than any of the previous iterations with a 4000mAh battery that is expected to be used on the flagship.

The fact that there are already details about the upcoming OnePlus offering suggests that the company is hard at work on it already. However, users are still advised to take this report with a pinch of salt until OnePlus makes it official.
