OnePlus has finally put an end to the speculations regarding the company's next flagship device. The China-based smartphone maker revealed that the OnePlus 5T will be officially launched during a special press conference on Nov. 16, while the handsets will be distributed straight to the market a week later.

As reported by The Verge, OnePlus confirmed the launch of the OnePlus 5T on Monday, then the device will arrive in North America and Europe on Nov. 21. In India, the OnePlus 5T is expected to become available starting Nov. 28, while the device's country of origin, China, will be the last to receive the premium handset on Dec. 1.

OnePlus will be doing the smartphone launch a bit differently this time around. The unboxing event will not only be open for the members of the press, but also for tech enthusiasts who want to learn more about the OnePlus 5T. The event will be held in Brooklyn, New York, and those who would like to participate will have to pay the entrance ticket worth $40.

To further entice the public for the OnePlus 5T launch, the company also released a teaser video showing the all-new slick appearance of the flagship smartphone. Not much has been revealed regarding the OnePlus 5T specs, but the video clearly showed that the device will be different than the current OnePlus 5.

Prior to OnePlus' announcement, rumors have surfaced that the OnePlus 5T will be featuring an all-new front display. The new flagship device will sport an almost all-screen panel with slimmer bezels. For an optimum viewing experience, the OnePlus 5T will boast an 18:9 aspect ratio. Many users today are expected to welcome this change, given that an almost bezel-less design has become a trend in 2017 flagship handsets.

Major improvements are also expected in the dual camera module of the OnePlus 5T. Unlike the previous version, the dual-lens camera setup will now have a special RGB sensor and one monochrome sensor for a top-quality image capture. Meanwhile, the OnePlus 5T will stick with the OnePlus 5's Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset clocked at 2.45GHz. The mobile processor will be paired with Adreno 540 GPU and RAM options of 6GB and 8GB. The OnePlus 5T will be released in 64GB and 128GB internal storage variants.
