While fans waited for the anointed hour for the unveiling of the OnePlus 3T's official page, the Chinese-based phone manufacturer offered its devoted fans a game to pass the time with "The Aviator Game."

The small interactive game allowed the site visitors to dodge obstacles midair using a propeller biplane. The game was designed Karim Maaloul. When everything was good to go, the game was then replaced by the official pages of the new phone.

OnePlus 3T is an upgraded version of the OnePlus 3 smartphone released less than a year ago. The physical dimension is exactly as its predecessor, 152.7 x 74.7 x 7.35 mm, and weighs 158 grams. The previous model will be phased out once the new one becomes available starting on Nov. 22.

The upcoming smartphone also retained its 5.5-inch Optic AMOLED display that offers a 1080 p screen resolution that offers a 401 ppi pixel density. It features a Night mode display, Accent Colors technology, and Light/Dark theme as well. A Gorilla Glass 4 that is scratch resistant helps protects the screen.

Under the hood, the upcoming model will sport a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 (2x 2.35 GHz, 2x 1.6 GHz), which is an upgraded version of the Snapdragon 820 (installed with the old model). Its system memory remains at 6 GB, as well was its internal storage offered at 64 GB and 128 GB.

Capturing special moments will be taken care of the 16 MP main camera that is equipped with a Sony IMX 298 sensor. It comes with an f/2.0 aperture, autofocus, PDAF, and an LED flash. The front facing camera gains an improvement, from 8 MP to 16 MP.

The battery received a 13 percent bump. It now carries a 3,400 mAh battery that replaces the 3,000 mAh power source, and it still comes with DashCharge technology that offers a 60 percent worth of battery juice for a 30-minute charging period.

The OnePlus 3T is pricier than its predecessor. The 64 GB variant will now cost $439, while the 128 GB model is priced at $479.

Individuals can now start placing their orders, but shipping will start on Nov. 22.
