Oppo has already released flyers for their soon-to-be-announced smartphone, the R9s. An image of the advertising material is going around the internet, which also shows some of its technical specifications.

From the images, the Oppo R9s is said to be sporting a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor which has a maximum clock speed of 2.0 GHz. It is also equipped with an Andreno 506 GPU. It contains 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage along with a MicroSD slot for expanding the storage.

The device will also come with a 5.5-inch TFT display that will feature 1080p screen resolution. Additionally, it will feature a 16-MP main camera equipped with f/1.7 aperture, a new SmarSensor equipped with an image stabilization technology, and 13-MP secondary camera at the front.

It is rumored to be equipped with a Super VOOC charging technology that the company announced early this year. The Chinese manufacturing firm claims that their flash charge can pour in up to 75 percent battery charge for just 30 minutes of its 3,010 mAh battery.

The Oppo R9s run with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow topped with its own Color OS user interface.

Many of its rumored specs were made known a few months back. However, the battery capacity did increase a little, based on a previous report, and it is now said that it packs 2,850 mAh. The alleged phone has also cleared TENNA and China's 3C certification beforehand. It was also speculated to have a 6 GB RAM variant.

Since Oppo has not officially launched the R9s just yet, everything should still be taken with a grain of salt. It is estimated to be unveiled later this month. Some reports even suggested an Oct. 19 release date for the Chinese market.

The Oppo R9s will be the third device in the R9 series after the 5.5-inch R9 (also known as the F1 Plus) and the 6.0-inch R9 Plus. The F1 Plus is powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6755 Helio P10, while its bigger brethren contain a Snapdragon 652 chip. Both devices came with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.
