It can finally be confirmed: Oprah Winfrey is "definitely not running for President." During her recent guesting on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," Winfrey denounced all the rumors that surfaced after she made an impassioned speech after accepting the Cecil B. DeMille award at the 2018 Golden Globes.

As Winfrey looked into the camera and directly denied her intentions of running for the US Presidency, Kimmel's studio audience booed in unison. "I am the kind of person who tries to listen to signs. I think, well am I supposed to run the country? I don't think so," said the media mogul.

Winfrey also responded to the now-infamous tweet sent by President Donald Trump challenging her to run for office so "she can be exposed and defeated like all the others." He also called her "insecure" in the said tweet. This came out after Winfrey went on "60 Minutes Overtime" and said, "I had a lot of wealthy men calling, telling me that they would run my campaign and raise $1 billion for me. I think that when you have that many people whose opinions you value coming at you, it's worthy of thinking about."

Kimmel and Winfrey also had a good laugh over the comments made by Stedman Graham about the motions made by Oprah's would-be political supporters. He was quoted by The LA Times as saying that it's "up to the people" and if they really wanted her to become their President, she would run for office. Winfrey reacted by saying, "Stedman! Why are you even talking?" After the ruckus that her life partner had caused, Graham told Oprah that he would not attend the Golden Globes again.

Despite the disappointment that her fans and supporters might be feeling over her pronouncement, Winfrey is still adamant about using her power and influence to create a positive impact. According to her, she did not feel that her influence had to be political in nature.

In the meantime, Oprah Winfrey may be seen as Mrs. Which on Disney's "A Wrinkle in Time," which opens in theatres on Mar. 9.
