Fans of "Orange Is the New Black" are eagerly waiting for June 12, the date when they will once again see the Litchfield inmates in the dramedy's third season.  But ahead of the season 3 premiere, it was already announced that "OITNB" will return for a fourth run in 2016.

The big news was announced by actress Uzo Aduba, who portrays the role of Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren on the original Netflix comedy-drama.

"Season four is now the new news," Aduba shared with Good Morning America host George Stephanopoulos during an interview last week.

The Emmy-award winning actress also shared that she and the rest of the cast members of the show are expected to return to work sometime in June, including Vee (Lorraine Toussaint).

But while waiting for June to arrive, Aduba shared that she is currently training to join the world-class Boston Marathon on Monday. She first finished her 26.2-mile race in five hours and one minute at the 2013 New York City Marathon, and she is planning to beat her own personal record this time around.

"I have to keep reminding myself to pace myself, or I'll break out too fast," she says. "You are not going to win the Boston Marathon, Uzo! This is not ending in a crown of palm leaves!"

The multi-awarded actress is running to gather funds for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute to pay respects to her family and friends who succumbed to the dreaded disease over the years.

"I've been running for many people over the past couple of years, but this race is most close to my heart because I just lost someone special recently," she said. "When is this going to stop?"

Aduba's character is one of the most popular inmates in the Litchfield Penitentiary.

Crazy Eyes will be joined by other returning characters like Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling), Alex Vause (Laura Prepon), Red (Kate Mulgrew), Taystee (Danielle Brooks), Nicky (Natasha Lyonne), Daya (Dascha Polanco), and Pennsatucky (Taryn Manning).

The cast will be joined by several newcomers, including Australian actress-supermodel Ruby Rose, who will portray the role of new inmate Stella Carlin.

"Orange Is the New Black" season 3 will premiere on June 12.
