While it is still a little more than a month before "Orange Is the New Black" season 5 begins streaming, fans are rest assured that the upcoming season of the Netflix original series will deliver justice for the death of Poussey (Samira Wiley).

There is no denying that "Orange Is the New Black" season 5 is one of the most-anticipated TV events this year. After all, with the previous season of the series ending with a cliffhanger scene, fans are eager to find out how the events in the season 4 finale will be dealt with in the upcoming season.

To recall, the season 4 finale of "Orange Is the New Black" featured the accidental death of Poussey due to suffocation as prison officer Baxter Bayley (Alan Aisenberg) stepped on her chest in an attempt to subdue her during a prison riot. Poussey's death resulted in an even tumultuous situation in Litchfield prison, with Dayanara/Daya Diaz (Dascha Polanco) aiming a gun at prison guard Thomas Humphrey (Michael Torpey) at the end of the season.

The recently released trailer of "Orange Is the New Black" season 5 shows the inmates inciting Daya to pull the trigger. While her fellow inmates keep on shouting, Daya snaps and tells them to keep quiet. As the screen turns dark before the trailer ends, a gunshot is heard. However, there is no telling whether it is Daya who pulls the trigger, and, if she really does, it can't be confirmed if she fires at her target or somewhere else.

Despite the uncertainty on whether Daya fires the gun at the prison guard or not, one thing is for sure: Poussey's death will be given justice in the upcoming season 5 of "Orange Is the New Black."

"There's a riot happening, and we will show that we really did love her and we believed in justice...it's going to be great. It's things that you haven't seen before, a lot of surprises, and we're left with a cliffhanger," revealed "Orange Is the New Black" actress Jackie Cruz, who plays the role of Marisol "Flaca" Gonzales in the series, in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight.

"Orange Is the New Black" season 5 begins streaming on Netflix this June 9.
