Apple is now rolling out two new updates with the iOS 8.3 and OSX 10.10.3. Rumors about their coming came out as early as Wednesday (April 8) and now they are available for Apple users for their various devices.

Apple actually released beta versions of the said updates and now the official ones can be applied. If you haven't gotten any notification for either, you may want to check your device's settings under the General/Software Update section.

Among the things to expect include diversified smiley faces, a range of new skin tones, new flags and so on. There will be around 300 new emojis for users to enjoy on their desktop and mobile devices.

Other things to look forward to with the update include Wireless CarPlay support, Free Apps Faster, more Siri languages, and an upgraded iCloud Photo Library.

And while that seems to be something to look forward to, there are some reports that the iPhone's Touch ID feature may have been affected. Some users claim that upon implementation of the iOS 8.3 update, the Touch ID feature on the iPhone 6 for the App Store was either malfunctioning or mysteriously omitted. And a more important question in the mind of users right now is on whether the Touch ID bug carries some security concerns.

One of the things users may come across include issues with the App store. It now constantly asks for a user's password with each purchase despite the Touch ID being enabled. The said issue seems to be affecting only the iPhone 6 but other iPhone models such as the iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5S and IPhone 5. The same holds true for owners of the iPad 2.

With the said issue, Apple has yet to address the issue so for the ones planning to upgrade to iOS 8.3, this may be left to your discretion, especially if you frequent the App store.
