At some point in her career, Ronda Rousey will be venturing out into something new. She has already hinted that she is interested in a World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) career and now, it looks like she is appending that with two other fighting niches.

One is Jiu-Jitsu, which should not be a hard transition since she did start out judo before and has been going up against fighters pretty much knowledgeable about it. And then there is boxing, which should be a whole lot interesting if you think about the exchanges that she and Floyd Mayweather Jr. have had some time back.

Of the two, there is one person who believes that she is good for boxing — former boxing champion and current Golden Boy Promotions CEO Oscar De La Hoya.

De La Hoya is, of course, the brains behind boxers like Canelo Alvarez and one can just imagine the things he can do for Rousey should she indeed pursue a boxing career. And according to De La Hoya (check out the video below), he and Rousey have already talked about it and all the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's champion has to do is say the word.

Rousey's desire to establish herself in other sporting niches is understandable. She is a competitor and has been known to thrive at her best.

Rousey hinted before that she doesn't see herself fighting beyond her thirties, and boxing now becomes another option for her aside from possibly returning to the WWE fray and perhaps rein as a WWE Divas champion.

For now, all these plans will stay up in the clouds. The reality is that she must take care of her current commitments. Such include her upcoming tiff against Holly Holm for UFC 193, which will take place in two weeks' time at the Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia.
