The Evangelical Alliance is hosting this year's Evangelists' Conference, 'Outbreak', and is calling all Christians with a heart of reaching out to their communities and work places to come along. The new-look event, will be held at The Riverside Centre in Derby on 6th-7th December. It will be a time for budding evangelists to be encouraged, equipped and refreshed for the year ahead.

The Conference features amazing speakers, Joel Edwards, General Director of the Evangelical Alliance, Mark Greene, Director of the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity, Phil Wall, CEO of Signify Ltd and Bev Shepherd, management consultant and teacher. Worship will be led by Andy Flannagan of Youth for Christ.

The programme will include main sessions as well as interactive sessions covering subjects such as 'evangelism in the workplace', 'evangelism for beginners' and subjects for experienced evangelists.

Joel Edwards, General Director of the Evangelical Alliance says, "As Christians we are all called to be the salt and light in the world. For some it's standing up in front of thousands and speaking God's word. For others it's the quiet word of encouragement. For all of us it's the privilege of taking Good News to every corner of our culture and being good news. That's what 'Outbreak' is all about."

Phil Wall, founding CEO of Signify explains: "The Evangelists' Conference has been a significant part of my growth and development as an evangelist. This has come through the mix of teaching received and relationships established over many years. It has been a fantastic investment of my time."

Andy Flannagan, worship leader for Youth for Christ added, "We often hide its simplicity behind our programmes and structures, while forgetting to support the people who are simply reaching people. This year's Evangelists’ Conference will provide the tools to do that. Most evangelists have never stood on a platform. Many evangelists don't feel that they actually are evangelists. This year's conference will be a key tool in empowering those people."

The Evangelical Alliance UK, formed in 1846, is an umbrella group representing over one million evangelical Christians in the UK and is made up of member churches, organisations and individuals.
