The second season of "Outlander" won't be premiering on Starz until spring, but last week, the show has been providing some teasers on the upcoming season which offers a glimpse of Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire's (Caitriona Balfe) life in Paris.

On Thursday, Oct. 26, the show's official Facebook page shared a photo of the couple dressed in fine 18th century Parisian fashion as they enjoyed dinner with other aristocrats. The photo was captioned, "Gather 'round lads and lassies, today we feast. Slainte mhath!"

In the photo, Jamie is seated at the head of the table, and it looks like he and Claire hosted the dinner party in a mansion.

The second season of the Starz series is based on Diana Gabaldon's second book in the "Outlander" series titled "Dragonfly in Amber." The second book will follow the couple in Paris as they seek Bonnie Prince Charles in hopes of stopping the Jacobite rebellion and preventing the killings at Culloden Moor. But to do that without being detected, the two have to convince the who's who of Parisian society that they are part of the elite, hence, the dinner parties, lavish clothes, and occasional visit to Versailles for an audience with the King.

As for how the Jamie and Claire convinced the others that they are one of the most formidable couples in France, Jamie's cousin, Jared, a successful wine importer, provided the two with some help in return for a favor. In the book, Jared went away to attend to some matters overseas, and he asked Jamie to oversee his business while he was away. In return, Jared provided them with the use of his mansion, which allowed Jamie and Claire to live in style. Viewers will be meeting Jared in the second season of the show and he will be played by Robert Cavanah.

While being in the wine business certainly elevated Claire and Jamie's style of living, it also brought about a dangerous enemy—Le Comte St. Germain (Stanley Weber), a nobleman who is a rival of Jared's in the wine business. In the books, St. Germain attends one of the couple's dinner parties, and the two learn that he is an enemy who shouldn't be taken lightly.

"Outlander" returns to Starz in spring 2016.
