After fans were left wanting more of the Battle of Culloden last season, their wish will definitely be granted when Starz' highly successful time travel drama "Outlander" returns for its third season.

According to Executive Producer Ronald R. Moore, the show will be focusing on the battle in more detail when the show returns.

Moore said, "We should give the audience some sense of what happened on that moor. We're playing it out more." The EP also teased that the filming of the battle scene in Scotland could be described as "one of our biggest set pieces."

Aside from Scotland, however, production will be traveling all the way to the Caribbean for the next season.

"Our home base will always be Scotland. We're looking at various options for where to shoot the ships and where to find tropical beaches and jungles to play the Caribbean section of the story. Hopefully, we'll find a place that has both things at once so we'll only have to make one big trip for the company," Moore added.

Diana Gabaldon — author of the book series in which the show is based — even teased a description of a scene as Jamie (Sam Heughan) gets ready for battle, describing the character as scary.

"He looked freaking crazy doing it. There's a great scene – I hope they don't edit it out our or truncate it – I've seen Sam do some very good stuff just in this block of filming and that scene's right up there," the author shared.

Meanwhile, a report from Hall of Fame magazine hints that the installment of the series may deviate from the novel "Voyager," the third book in the series.

Also expected to happen in the season is a big battle scene between Jamie and 'Black Jack' Randall (Tobias Menzies).

"Outlander" season 3 is expected to premiere in spring of 2017, but no specific release date has been announced by the network yet.
