Fans of the hit Starz series "Outlander" are looking forward to the arrival of season 4, which will continue the story of Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe). A recent sneak peek of season 4 excites fans as the pair are seen faced by some soldiers.

The teaser shows the couple coming upon a group of Redcoats who want to know why they are out so late. With that, Claire replies that it is a "family matter." But one of the soldiers still demands Claire to reveal what is inside their wagon.

In answer, Jamie says, "Nothing of worth. It appears that their wagon contains food and a body since a man was hanged. The pair wants to bring the dead man to his family so he can be given a proper burial. But the soldiers are still suspicious of Jamie and Claire.

They want to make sure that they are carrying a dead body. So one of the soldiers asks one of his fellow men to stab the corpse with a bayonet. After getting stabbed in the leg, the man does not move. Hence, the two are allowed to continue on their journey.

Some fans are wondering whose body is it and if he is indeed dead. Hollywood Life reveals that it is Stephen Bonnet played by Ed Speleers. The character is introduced in the fourth book of Diana Gabaldon's series, "Drums of Autumn." Stephen was supposed to be hanged along with Jamie's friend, Gavin Hayes. Like Jamie, Gavin is also a survivor of the Battle of Culloden. But Stephen managed to escape and hide.

After the execution of Gavin, it is now Stephen's turn, but he is saved since Jamie helps him. Stephen asks for Jamie to help him in getting out of town. In order to do that, he hides Stephen in his wagon, but Stephen needs to act as a dead person. Hence, when the soldiers stabs his leg, he does not make a sound. Will they make it to their destination safely?

"Outlander" season 4 will air this year on Starz, but the exact premiere date is not yet announced.
