"Overwatch" is celebrating its first year with a special anniversary event.

More loot boxes are up for grabs in the game's upcoming event to celebrate the game's first year in the industry.  No release date has been set, but since "Overwatch" came out on May 24, 2016, the event will likely kick off sometime next week. Details about the milestone event were first seen in an Xbox listing for anniversary loot boxes that came with a description of its contents. A bit of information about the event itself was also revealed.

"Every Loot Box contains up to four cosmetic items, including at least one Anniversary Skin, Spray, Highlight Intro, Emote, Victory Pose, Player Icon, or Voice Line," reads the listing. "If your Anniversary Loot Box contains an item that is already in your collection, you will instead receive in-game Credits that you can use to acquire many customization options."

Over a hundred rewards will be given to players during the event. Those who want anniversary loot boxes can purchase them or earn in-game until June 5.

In other news, Blizzard Entertainment continues to expand the world of "Overwatch" outside of the game. The studio is launching a new art book and comic anthology in October, which celebrates the game's rich storyline.

"The Art of Overwatch" is a hardcover art book that includes never-before-seen art and some commentaries from the developers themselves. It promises to unveil the "creative process" behind the acclaimed game as well. The book has two versions: the standard hardcover ($50) and the limited edition ($100). Meanwhile, the comic anthology can be purchased for $20. Twelve of these comics can now be viewed on the game's official website.

Developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment, "Overwatch" is available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
