"Pac-Man" is one of the earliest games to be created in the arcade, and until now, the game has not died as newer and newer versions are getting released throughout the year. Recently, developer Bandai Namco stated that they will be releasing the latest "Pac-Man" game to the Nintendo Switch.

"Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Plus" is actually a package of the game "Championship Edition 2" and an exclusive feature added to the Plus version. As with the Edition 2 version, players get to play modes like Score Attack, Adventure Mode, and Big Boss Battle. All of these also appear in the original game but with more strategy required.

The Plus version's exclusive feature is the local co-op multiplayer mode called the "2 PLUS 2P." In this mode, the players can team up to take down the ghosts and even giant ghosts in the Big Boss Battle mode. There is also the competitive mode where the two players will rush to get the highest score.

For those who have not tried the 2016 Edition 2 game yet, they can always go for the Adventure Mode first once they get the Plus version. The mode teaches players the rules of the new modes in small challenges to familiarize the players with the game.

The core gameplay itself is quite straightforward, which is definitely reminiscent of the first ever "Pac-Man" game back in 1980. Of course, with the newer versions and newer technology, the graphics get better and better.

Blinky, Inky, Pinky, and Clyde, for those who do not know, are actually the name of the ghosts. It looks like they will be getting another chance at "Pac-Man" once players get the game for the Switch.

"Championship Edition 2" is the sequel to the original Xbox game back in 2007. The game was released a year ago for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The Plus version for the Switch will be out on Feb. 22, 2018.
