Nintendo is looking to restock retailer shelves with rare amiibo. Dark Pit is set to be available in Best Buy by the end of the month, but another character that made many gamers and collectors all gung-ho and trigger-happy, the Palutena-inspired figurine, will be making a glorious comeback, too. 

Joining Dark Pit is the goddess of light, which will also be available on July 31 in North America as per the official amiibo website. However, Nintendo failed to mention if the character will made an exclusive to any particular retailer. So those hoping to grab one need to keep their eyes peeled for updates. 

For now, it is safe to assume that most merchandisers will have Palutena displayed on their shelves but without Nintendo making this official, one can only hope that the sought-after amiibo won't be as elusive as it was when it was first released. 

Collectors on the hunt for Palutena will likely be able to get her from Gamestop, Toys "R" Us and Best Buy as these three are usually the merchandisers primed to cater to the most number of customers aiming to find most of Nintendo's precious releases. 

Palutena's simultaneous release with Dark Pit's is basically due to the characters belonging in the same universe. But with the latter limited to Best Buy, it also makes sense that the former will share the same exclusivity as well. 

While it is ardently hoped that the figurine won't be hard to find this time, fans can expect another tight battle. In recognition to this, Best Buy is preparing for the surge of gamers for the exclusive Dark Pit amiibo. The retail giant won't be conducting pre-orders and will strictly allow a customer to buy just one piece. Also, the sale will be on a first-come, first-served basis. The best bet of snagging one is getting there early.
