The Carolina Panthers and San Francisco 49ers will be one of just three late afternoon games in week 10 of the NFL on Sunday. The 49ers come into Week 10 on 6-2 and have had a Bye Week to recuperate and prepare for a big push through the second half of the season. However, they will face a Panthers side confident after four straight wins.

Today's big game will start at 4.05 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on the Fox network. The game will also be available to watch online – free for Direct TV NFL Sunday Ticket subscribers – via the link provided below.

These are two of the most in form teams in the NFL right now. The Panthers have won four straight, where as the 49ers are riding on the back of five consecutive wins.

Despite their good form the 49ers cannot relax – at 6-2 they are still behind the 8-1 Seattle Seahawks who are on 8-1.

Meanwhile the Panthers have done fantastically well in recent weeks to work themselves back to 5-3, but they still have work to do to claim top spot in the NFC South, with New Orleans on 6-2.

This game should be intriguing as the two sides have some of the better defenses in the league this season, but also have two of the most exciting quarterbacks on display in Colin Kaepernick and Cam Newton.

However, for Kaepernick, the 49ers have the worst ranked pass offense in the league – extraordinary considering their 6-2 record. They have relied heavily on their rush offense, which is ranked number 1 in the NFL. That means the Panthers will know they have to shut down the rush if they are to claim the win today.
