Paul Walker crash: Video of crash scene aftermath goes viral

A video of what appears to be the aftermath of the car crash that killed Fast and the Furious actor Paul Walker has been going viral online.

The video shows a red car engulfed in flames, which is alleged to be the red Porsche that driver Roger Rodus was driving with passenger Paul Walker before the fatal accident.

According to authorities, speed could have played a factor in the car crash on Nov. 30 in Santa Clarita.

Walker, 40, had attended a charity event for survivors of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines just before his tragic death.

The actor was also in the middle of shooting the 7th installment of the Fast and the Furious film franchise. He reportedly shot a large chunk of the movie, and reports state that his part will not be abandoned from the movie.

Walker is survived by 15-year-old daughter Meadow Rain Walker, whom he had in 1998 with Rebecca McBrain, his then girlfriend who now lives in Hawaii.

Paul Walker's death has been confirmed on his Twitter and Facebook accounts with the message:

"It is with a truly heavy heart that we must confirm that Paul Walker passed away today in a tragic car accident while attending a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide. He was a passenger in a friend's car, in which both lost their lives. We appreciate your patience as we too are stunned and saddened beyond belief by this news. Thank you for keeping his family and friends in your prayers during this very difficult time. We will do our best to keep you apprised on where to send condolences. -‪#‎TeamPW"
