There's more than one way to grab a Pepsi, and as it turns out, one of those is through getting a new smartphone.

A new smartphone, known as the Pepsi P1s, is officially available in China, although it appears that it will only be on sale inside that country for now.

Pepsi is not the actual manufacturer of the smartphone, for those who may be wondering what a device made by a soda company might be like, and it is instead the product of China's Scooby Communication Equipment company, according to NDTV

Pepsi is basically involved in the new smartphone in two ways. First, the beverage company has made their brand and likeness available to be used for the Pepsi P1s, and on top of that, they are also the ones responsible for running the crowdfunding campaign that is delivering the new smartphone to those who actually want to have it.

For those curious about what a Pepsi-brand smartphone is actually like, fortunately, the specs and features of the new device are now known.

The Pepsi P1s is equipped with an octa-core MediaTek processor that is then supplemented with 2 GB of RAM.

The new smartphone also offers 16 GB of internal storage, although users can expand it all the way up to 64 GB through the use of a microSD card. The Pepsi P1s features a 13-megapixel rear camera that is paired up with one up front that offers five megapixels.

Pepsi's new smartphone has a 5.5-inch 2.5D curved display along with two available SIM card slots.

The phone also runs dido OS 6.1, a system that takes inspiration from the more prevalent Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The Pepsi P1s is currently available for $110, according to Phone Arena.

Also being released alongside the Pepsi P1s is another smartphone authorized by the soda company, known as the Pepsi P1.
