Last month, it was reported that former One Direction member Zayn Malik broke up with his fianceé Perrie Edwards via a text message. Although still trying to cope with the situation, Edwards seems upbeat and positive, appearing with her Little Mix bandmates in touring all over the U.S. to promote their new single "Black Magic." 

However, while the 22-year-old singer has been mostly cheerful and energetic during her band appearances, it appears that the reality of her breakup with Malik has hit her hard during a performance on Wednesday, Aug. 19. According to Billboard, Little Mix was performing an acapella rendition of their song "The End" at NBC's 30 Rock Stage for an AOL livestream event in New York City when Edwards broke down in tears. 

In the video posted by Twitter user @littlemixsass and published on the Billboard website, Edwards could be heard singing the lyrics, "No one can love you, the way I used to, but love," when she broke off and started crying. Her bandmates immediately went closer to Edwards to give her a hug, and the singer could be heard sobbing. 

Jesy Nelson addressed the crowd and said, "It's been a long day, and we've had no sleep, so I think this is why this has happened. We're just very emotional." 

The audience could be heard shouting their support for Edwards, saying, "We love you Perrie!" 

It's clear that Edwards has the support of bandmates Nelson, Jade Thirlwall, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock. Edwards recently told James Corden at the "Late Late Show" that she was "good" after her breakup with Malik and that she is very grateful to have her bandmates as they have been there for her "100 percent" during this difficult time in her life. 

"I'm good. I'm having an absolute blast in America, things are going so well, and I just wake up every day and I thank my lucky stars that I have these three girls."
