The post was accompanied by a celebratory drawing by "Persona 5's" character designer Shigenori Soejima.

"Persona 5" is one of the biggest video game releases of 2017. The game was first released in Japan on Sept. 15, 2016. The game made its way worldwide on Apr. 4 and managed to sell over 1.5 million copies after only a few days.

The game is also celebrating "Persona 5's" four The Game Awards nominations. The game is nominated for "Game of the Year," "Best Role-Playing Game," "Best Art Direction," and "Best Score/Music." Atlus is urging fans of the game to vote for "Persona 5." Winners will be announced on Dec. 7.

"Persona 5" is up against "Super Mario Odyssey," "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild," "PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds," and "Horizon Zero Dawn" in the "Game of the Year" category.

"Persona 5" is also one of the best and well-executed role-playing video games according to reviews from video game critics.

The gameplay takes on the usual turn-based combat system. The characters in the game clash against dark creatures using their weapons and the manifestation of inner psyche, in other words, personas. In addition to the combat gameplay, players are also tasked to navigate their character's way as a high school student in Tokyo. The storyline, cut scenes, and dialogues of the game also received positive comments from both fans and experts.

The game received a near perfect score of 9.7 out of 10 from IGN. According to IGN's report, "Persona 5" is the best video game installment in the "Persona" game franchise.
