Fans are expecting a lot of big news to break at this year's upcoming Tokyo Game Show, and Atlus looks like it will not be disappointing them.

Atlus has just announced that they will be holding a special full-stage event for their upcoming Japanese role-playing game (JRPG) release, "Persona 5," at the event. The special event will be taking place on Sept. 19, according to Techno Buffalo.

The event will run from 2:30 to 3:30 JST.

As of now, Atlus has not announced just exactly what they are planning to show off at the event that will be related to "Persona 5." The company has yet to announce any new plans to reveal a trailer at the event and they have also held off on prematurely divulging the game's specific details.

Instead, Atlus has announced that there will be a cavalcade of live performances coming from artists who have had some of their songs featured in earlier games from the franchise.

Among the most notable artists expected to perform at the event include rapper Lotus Juice, whose work appeared in both "Persona 3" and "Persona 3: FES," according to Polygon.

Another artist expected to make an appearance at the "Persona 5" event at Tokyo Game Show will be Shihoko Hirata. Hirata had her work featured in "Persona 4."

At least some of the voice actors who are working on "Persona 5" are also expected to show up at the event.

The cast of "Persona Stalker Club," a talk show that discusses the games from the franchise, will also be appearing at the event to do a live episode of their program.

Despite Atlus remaining largely silent in terms of official announcements regarding "Persona 5," the company is widely expected to provide more specific details regarding the game's release.

"Persona 5" is reportedly scheduled to be launched before the end of 2015, making the Tokyo Game Show event an ideal stage for an important announcement.
