Phatfish strikes a beautiful chord with ‘Higher’

So summer was virtually non-existent across Britain this year, save a few merciful days of sunshine here and there. Maybe that’s why Phatfish have come up with this great new single which has oodles of sunny vibes just when we’re set to embrace the autumn.

“Higher” is the title track of their forthcoming album of the same name and from the word go, it is full of energising synths and uplifting vocals from singer Lou Fellingham.

The track’s a powerful and feel-good reminder that nothing in this world can really satisfy us and that we were “made for something so much higher”.

"Chasing dreams that will fade tomorrow/
And never fulfil/
On the treadmill of life that’s moving nowhere fast"

Oh yes, we've all been there before ... So if your energy levels have flat-lined under heavy clouds then put this on and blast away your spiritual lethargy. We guarantee you’ll feel fresh and fab in no time!

The single is out now and the album is on its way. Just about every member of the six-member band have had an input in the songwriting and Kingsway promises anything but a standard worship album.

“Expect an uplifting, thought-provoking, impassioned collection of memorable songs where spiritual integrity and musical edge come across in equal measure,” they say.

Sounds great!
