Philadelphia 76ers center Jahlil Okafor responded to rumors about his possible trade deal for the upcoming NBA season.

In his Twitter account, the 20-year-old center ranted on Twitter about the write-ups regarding the rumored disappointment with his team. But it appears like none of the reports are actually true.

"One second I'm reportedly upset to be in Philly, then the next I'm upset about trade rumors and having to leave Philly," Okafor stated. "Which one is it? Source please confirm. Seems like writers are getting lazy, dropping a fraudulent story and try to make it credible by using that magic word.... Sources! Lol stop it."

But the news about the possible trade involving the 76ers centers continue to involve Okafor. In an interview with SiriusXM NBA Radio that was reported by NESN, the team's general manager Bryan Colangelo admitted that Okafor, Nerlens Noel, and Joel Embiid needs more playing time in order to shine further. Yet it may not happen unless one of them will be traded.

"But I think, right now, again, it's best to say we like all of them. We want to see if we can make the most out of each of them in terms of their contributions to this team. But at the end of the day, the reality says probably one has to go at some point — but only when the deal is right," Colangelo said.

However, the team's general manager did not mention who among the team's center will be traded off before the upcoming season.

But in his Twitter account, Okafor also mentioned that he is currently happy with his standing with the team. "With all that being said. I love where I am, and I am excited about this upcoming season," Okafor said. "Big season for us!"

The 76ers are expected to talk about their trade deals before the 71st season of NBA begins on Oct. 25.
