Phoenix Suns 2015 roster rumors: Will the Suns rise in Phoenix?

Looking at the other NBA Western Conference teams, the Phoenix Suns are perhaps in the headlines because of the celebrated rant of disgruntled forward Markieff Morris who reiterates that he wants out of the team.

Now, that issue has yet to be resolved; but setting the Morris story aside for a minute, how does the season ahead look for the Phoenix Suns?

In the offseason, the Suns did make a key addition honing their center position with Tyson Chandler. In fact, Chandler was even used as an angle to try and lure LaMarcus Aldridge into the fold.

The Suns also added some other names, although not as high caliber; but depending on coach Jeff Hornacek's plans, the group may do for now.

Coming back are Eric Bledsoe and Brandon Knight, a point guard combo that seems to indicate that the Suns plan to do a lot of running as well. With Chandler protecting the cylinder and hauling down the rebounds, it seems that this could work.

How about the supporting cast? There are some names like Ronnie Price, Sonny Weems and P.J. Tucker in the roster and the coming season could help them a lot. With few big names in the roster, the Suns could be in for a rough season, considering they find themselves in a pretty competitive Western Conference.

Morris could be a great holdover but it seems that the forward is bent on leaving the team. After the Suns dealt his twin brother to Detroit, Morris has sounded off that he wants to be traded. Among the teams he mentioned having interest in are the Houston Rockets and the Toronto Raptors; whomever the Suns get in exchange could be pivotal.

With a practically new lineup, the Suns could find it hard to improve on their 10th place finish last season (39–43 W–L record); but you just never know what coach Jeff Hornacek has up his sleeves.
