If you hear Markieff Morris quiet from hereon then that is because he doesn't want to be meted anymore fines.

After making it public that he wanted out of the Phoenix Suns for the coming season, the NBA fined Morris $10,000 for making such public statements, which the NBA considered detrimental to the league.

Morris seems to be determined to bolt Phoenix after the Suns dealt his twin brother Marcus to the Detroit Pistons in the summer. Apparently, the Morris brothers wanted to play on the same team and even agreed to take a pay cut to make it happen.

After the trade was made, such irked both brothers.

Marcus for his part was pretty vocal about his displeasure of being shipped out of Phoenix, citing that he wanted to play badly alongside his brother. From the way he put it, it seems that they were not consulted about the coming trade which he considered was a slap on the face.

And it seems that Markieff feels the same way and had said that his future will not be in Phoenix via social medium Twitter.

The Suns apparently kept Markieff with reason. And that was because the power forward was one of the bright spots the team had last season. Markieff averaged 15.3 points and 6.2 rebounds per outing, a pretty instrumental figure for the team's 2014–15 campaign.

As things stand now, there is no word on what the Suns plan to do. Markieff did mention that he would be open to playing for the Houston Rockets or the Toronto Raptors because he wants to play alongside James Harden and Kyle Lowry, respectively.

It remains to be seen now what the next steps the Suns would take. Would they wait and pray that Markieff softens up or talk to other teams about a possible trade?
