The Behemoth, the developer of the game "Pit People," announced that the fast-paced, turn-based, cooperative gameplay (co-op) adventure is scheduled to leave Early Access and launch properly on March 2.

Megan Lam, the community manager/public relations coordinator of The Behemoth, announced in a blog post on Feb. 21 that the full release of "Pit People" will be on March 2 alongside a YouTube video of the release date announcement. She extended The Behemoth's gratitude for players who availed the Early Access copy, particularly for their help in the development of the game. She said that the Early Access period for "Pit People" only lasted 309 days, making it one of fastest records in the Early Access history.

She then said in the full version of the game, the story is already completed alongside the game's cinematics. There will also be a whole new World Map with 15 additional bonus missions. Moreover, the upcoming full version will be more balanced and polished and will have more "quality of life" features and tweaks. For a rundown of all the features of the full version, The Behemoth will publish a launch post on March 2. 

According to the Steam page of the game, players will have to plot the courses of actions of tragically unique heroes in the pit. Players will have to quest and explore, find treasures, and customize the heroes to their own liking. Furthermore, players will have to take down and recruit downright weird species like frightening robots, deadly vampires, hair trolls and bloodthirsty cupcake people to survive the world the game is set in.

"Pit People" is available for Microsoft Windows and Xbox One at $19.99 ($14.99 for Early Access version).
