Despite several setbacks, "Pitch Perfect 3" is still a go as another returning character has been confirmed for the upcoming film. Previously, only Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow and Hailee Steinfeld were confirmed for the third installment of the hit movie franchise, but now, it has been announced that Anna Camp will be reprising her role as Aubrey in the new movie.

Recently, Camp spoke with Entertainment Weekly to give an update about "Pitch Perfect 3," and it appears that filming is still a long way off as the actress said that she has yet to see a single page of the script. However, Camp revealed that the writers "really want to make the girls adults living in the world" for the upcoming movie.

The last time fans saw the Barden Bellas, seniors Becca (Kendrick), Fat Amy (Wilson), Chloe (Snow) graduated from college, leaving Emily (Steinfeld) in charge of the Bellas' house. It would make sense for the older Bellas to be portrayed as working women in the third "Pitch Perfect" film, as some of them made their plans known in a bonding moment at a retreat camp led by Aubrey in the previous installment.

It is likely that Becca could be producing music, as her internship with a successful music producer in the last film was a huge success. Meanwhile, Fat Amy said that she wanted to do something awesome after she graduates, and it's possible that she could have a surprising job in the next film. As for Chloe, it's likely that she could have a job linked to managing acapella groups, as she has always loved being a Bella.

It was also speculated that the Bellas could return to Barden University after Emily discovers that she needs some help getting the new members in shape. For now, no details have been revealed about the film's plot, so fans will have to stay tuned to know more about the next installment.

"Pitch Perfect 3" opens in theaters on Dec. 22, 2017.
