Sony's upcoming PlayStation 4 Pro console is technically more powerful than its predecessor, but without proper games that can utilize its power, gamers would gain nothing. However, the soon-to-be-released device is taking baby steps in terms of games, as "Mafia 3" is now a part of the growing list.

According to Gadgets 360, Haden Blackman, studio head and creative director of Hangar 13, has officially announced that their recently released "Mafia 3" can take advantage of the PlayStation 4 Pro's offerings. They will even add updated visuals that will set it apart from other console versions.

Blackman said, "I'm always excited about new technology because it means we can push our art even further. For the PS Pro specifically, we'll add some graphics upgrades."

"Mafia 3" is the third installment in the action-adventure game series, and it will follow the story of Lincoln Clay as he builds and establishes his own mob family in a place called New Bordeaux. He is going to fight against the well-established and well-connected Italian mob.

The addition of the game brings a total of 12 released games which have PlayStation 4 Pro support. This includes "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided," "FIFA 17," "Infamous: First Light," "Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor," "Paragon," and "PES 2017." Additionally, it also includes "The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited," "The Last of Us: Remastered," and "The Witness."

Unreleased games which will support the PS4 Pro include "Battlefield 1," "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered," "Days Gone," and "Dishonored 2." Other upcoming games that will support the mid-gen console are "Farpoint (PlayStation VR)," "Final Fantasy XV," "For Honor," "Horizon: Zero Dawn," "Killing Floor 2," "Mass Effect Andromeda," "Rise of the Tomb Raider," "Spider-Man," and "Watch Dogs 2."

The PlayStation 4 Pro was unveiled last Sept. 7, and it will be released on Nov. 10. The price point is set at $399, which is line with the original PlayStation launch cost. Meanwhile, the PlayStation 4 Slim is now available with the price of $300.
