If rumors are true, then PlayStation 4 jailbreak developed by Lizard Squad will become readily available this year. 

The news about the hack has been circulating as early as October last year, saying that a hacker named Reckz0r was trying to hack PS4. The hacker allegedly posted the tips for jailbreaking in a pastebin, but the files were reportedly empty. Those who tried to download it think that the rumors are not true.  

Franchise Herald doesn't believe it either, including the warning from Sony that the jailbreaker allegedly received through Twitter telling him to delete the jailbreak files. 

The alleged message from Sony said, "No? We're giving you one day, to delete that Pastebin link you have recently posted, alongside with the files if you have uploaded them somewhere. It won't take us long to get you arrested if you're still going to proceed spreading the jailbreak. :) Take the Geohotz scenario as an example."

This week, KDrama Stars reported that through the code from Reckz0r's supposed hack, the notorious hacking group Lizard Squad had allegedly found a way to "achieve their method of jailbreaking the PS4." According to the report, the group found a major security flaw in PS4's latest 2.03 firmware. It reportedly helped them discover the root files of the operating system used by Sony's console then changed it so that they can run their own code. Because of that, the revised code supposedly has the capacity to run the isos of most PS4 games. 

The website also reported that the PlayStation 4 jailbreak came from one of the Lizard Squad members who posted it on 4Chan. The alleged chip would be available for the public to try this year, and it would allow players to enjoy playing pirated games as well as go online without having to have an access in PlayStation Plus. It also mentioned that players would be able update their chosen game and be able to play their cracked DLC content.

However, there is no news about the release date of the so-called PlayStation 4 jailbreak, or if it actually exists.
