PlayStation 4 Pro news: titles optimized for the console confirmed

Sony's PlayStation4 Pro will be released on Nov. 10, and the company was happy to announce the games that are optimized for the upgraded video game console.

"We know you're eager to find out which titles will be the first to take advantage of the increased power and performance of PS4 Pro. The following 30+ titles will be optimized for the new hardware on launch day. Some games have updates to add Pro support, while more recent titles like Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare have Pro enhancements built into the base game. We'll keep this list updated should additional titles be confirmed," as stated on the recent announcement on the PlayStation Blog.

There are 44 games that can immediately take advantage of the upgraded CPU and GPU, as well as the 4K resolution enhancement and HDR imaging technology that offers enhanced and stable frame rates.

"Battlefield 1," "Battlezone," "Bound," "Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3," "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" and "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" are included. It also listed, "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided," "Dishonored 2," "Driveclub VR," "EA Sports FIFA 17," "Firewatch," "Helldivers," "Hitman" and "Hustle Kings."

The "Infamous" series, both "First Light" and "Second Son" are also counted in, as well as "Knack," "Mafia III," "Mantis Burn Racing," "Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor," "NBA 2K17," "Neon Chrome," "Paragon" and games inside the "PlayStation VR Worlds."

Moreover, "Ratchet & Clank," "Rez Infinite," "RIGS Mechanized Combat League," "Rise Of The Tomb Raider," "Robinson: The Journey," "Smite" and "Super Stardust Ultra" are supported. Plus two games from "The Elders Scrolls" series, the "Tamriel Unlimited" (online) and the "Skyrim Special Edition." These are just several of the games on the list.

Fred Dutton, editorial and content senior manager, also mentioned that before 2016 ends, several more games will be added. Such as, "Final Fantasy XV," "Killing Floor 2," "The Last Guardian" and "Watch Dogs 2." By early 2017, "For Honor," "Nioh" and "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" will also be able to maximize the power of the new PlayStation 4 Pro.

The PlayStation 4 Pro will be available starting Nov. 10 with a price tag of US$399 for the 1 TB package.
