Sony's PlayStation Now will no longer be limited to the company's PlayStation consoles and Bravia TVs, as the service will reportedly expand — PlayStation Now will be offered by third-party devices in 2015. 

PS Now will be offered in Samsung Smart TVs after Sony and Samsung signed a partnership that will bring select Samsung Smart TVs to the United States and Canada next year. PS Now will be available as an app that can be downloaded from the Samsung Smart Hub. 

"Since we first introduced PlayStation Now at CES 2014, our vision has been to open the world of PlayStation to the masses by offering the service on the devices they use every day. Partnering with Samsung is a key step toward realizing this vision, as we can reach a broader audience of consumers who may not own a PlayStation console to show them why gaming with PlayStation is such a unique and amazing experience," Executive Vice President of Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. Masayasu Ito said. 

PlayStation Now is now available in PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 3, PlayStation TV, and BRAVIA TVs. Currently, the service offers over 200 game titles for PS3. Users has access to a vast library of PlayStation 3 titles that can be paid on a per-game basis or via a subscription. The service is currently in beta version and Sony may have plans to offer PS4 and PS2 titles in the future. For non-Sony devices, users will need a Dualshock 4 controller in order to access PS Now. 

Meanwhile, Sony suffered another blow when it was again attacked by hackers that disabled the PlayStation Network. The hacker activist group known as Lizard Squad, which attacked Sony before, claimed responsibility for the hacking. Although Sony has reportedly restored its service, some gamers reported they still experience some problems with the network. 

The hacker group also attacked Microsoft Corp's Xbox Live on Christmas Day. The service was restored last Friday.
