PlayStation welcomes 2018 with another set of video games free for PlayStation Plus subscribers. PlayStation went all out by providing free video games for the PS4, PS3, and PS Vita.

The list of free games available is helmed by a critically acclaimed first-person shooter video game. Gamers can now enjoy the latest installment to the "Deus Ex" video game series by video game company Eidos Montreal. Active members of PS Plus can download "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" for free rather than pay for its original price of $59.99 and engage in the Deus Ex Universe. "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" was released back on Aug. 23, 2016 and continues to tell the story of the augmented protagonist Adam Jensen.

PlayStation also offers the PS VR video game "Starblood Arena" for free. This video game is also a first-person shooter video game that takes on an arena combat gameplay and is enjoyed with a virtual reality accessory.

After all the shooting madness with Mankind Divided and Starblood, the adventure video game "Batman: The Telltale Series" is also available for free. Gamers can save $24.99 with this video game sold for free. "Batman: The Telltale Series" got impressive score ratings from critics, 7.6 out of 10 from GameSpot and 7 from Steam.

The last PlayStation 4 video game available for free is the horror video game "Uncanny Valley." The video game is also offered for free for the PS Vita console. Gamers who still play with their PS3 can dive into "Sacred 3" and "Book of Unwritten Tales 2."

The visual novel game "Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness" is also included on the list for the PS Vita. Sony still has not released any information if other video games will be made available for free or if the company will have a big sale for selected video games.
