It is already the last month of the year but PlayStation Plus members are still in for a treat as the last batch of free games rolls out for December.

All in all, there are six new titles that will join the PS Plus free games roster for December, which are available for PS3, PS4, and PS Vita gamers who have already enrolled in the PS Plus program. According to the announcement on the US PlayStation blog, the titles range from light-hearted adventure, hack-and-slash games to more serious, item-collecting, dungeon-quest titles.

For the PS4, available as a free download is "Gauntlet: Slayer Edition" for serious multiplayer, multi-class dungeon hunters. This title pits players against a mountain of monsters appearing in dungeons while looking for loot and rewards. Players also take on the role of either a Valkyrie or a Warrior as frontliner, or a Wizard or Elf for team support.

Also available for the PS4 is "King's Quest – Chapter 1: A Knight to Remember." Players take on the role of a knight in shining armor, with gameplay reminiscent of the previous "King's Quest" classics but with a redesigned visual art and style.

There are also two titles available for PS3 players in varied genres. Gamers can either play as a snowboarder for the "SSX" title, the latest in the sports franchise, or take on a role as an '80s shooter in "Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon."

Meanwhile, the PS Plus free games list for December is also extended to the PS Vita handheld system. Players can download "Freedom Wars" and "Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken" for free.

The December list concludes the free games download for PS Plus members for 2015. According to Polygon, the free games for the year totaled a number of 72 titles for the three platforms, and members who have subscribed to the service have saved up to $1,000 in free game titles.
