Sony has yet to reveal what it has in store for PlayStation Plus members for May 2017. Nonetheless, there are those who are speculating what the free games for the month will be.

ThisGenGaming has released a list of what it hopes will be available free games for PlayStation Plus members for May 2017. The first on its list is "Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition," which was published by the THQ Nordic and which is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, and Steam. This title allows players to play as Death, who has to rescue War, a fellow member of the other Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Another title that may be available for free next month is "God of War 3 Remastered." This move is possible, considering that a new "God of War" game is set to be introduced in this year's E3, so it is not unlikely that this will be made available to help build up the hype for the new title.

"Crypt of the Necrodancer," first launched in 2016, is also predicted to be made available for free for PlayStation Plus subscribers next month. This is a rhythm game in which players will need to follow the beat in order to beat the dungeons which are infested by monsters such as skeletons, dragons, and zombies.

The last title on its list is "Thumper," an award-winning game which was also originally released in 2016. Like "Crypt of the Necrodancer," this is a rhythm game. This time, gamers will take control of a beetle in order to guide it safely across space.

The April offerings, namely "Drawn to Death," "Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime," "Invizimals: The Lost Kingdom," "Alien Rage – Extended Edition," "10 Second Ninja," and "Curses 'n Chaos" will be available for download until May 2 before these are replaced by the new games. Players will have to wait until Sony makes an official announcement on what these titles the May list will be composed of.
