A new month is about to begin, which means that PlayStation Plus subscribers will have new free games to play.

On Wednesday, James Hallahan of PlayStation Plus announced on the PlayStation blog the list of titles that will come as free in May for subscribers.

For owners of the PlayStation 4 console, they can enjoy two adventure games, namely, "Tales from the Borderlands" and "Abzu," for free.

Members who are interested in playing an adventure telltale game can explore "Tales from the Borderlands," where they uncover different story elements based on their choices and actions at the start of the game. The title is set at the world of Pandora and takes place from where "Borderlands 2" left off.

On the other hand, those who prefer an adventure underwater can play "Abzu," which takes place in a beautiful setting under the ocean. Here, players can do different actions such as performing fluid acrobatics and uncovering different sea creatures and other unique water species.

Meanwhile, those who own the PlayStation 3 platform can download "Blood Knights" and "Port Royale 3: Pirates and Merchants" for free in May.

Players who are looking forward to playing an action role-playing game may opt for "Blood Knights." The title is a hack-and-slash game that explores the setting of a medieval vampire location. The game allows players to turn into vampires, in which they can also battle other monsters and enemies.

On the other hand, those who are more inclined to playing strategy games may look forward to "Port Royale 3: Pirates and Merchants," in which they can play as either an adventurer or a trader. The former role allows players to join in naval battles and invasions, while the latter role enables players to discover trade routes.

As for those who own the PlayStation Vita console, the titles "Laser Disco Defenders" and "Type: Rider" are going to be available for free download next month. Owners of the PlayStation 4 may also access these titles via cross buy.
