The PlayStation VR looks to have the "strongest title count," at least according to GameStop CEO Paul Raines.

During his appearance at the ICR Conference 2016 in Orlando on Jan. 12, Raines indicated that at least for now, he believes that Sony has a bit of an advantage against the other proprietors of virtual reality (VR) headsets, thanks in part to its lineup of games.

Sony has thus far not gotten too deep into revealing too much about its PlayStation VR lineup, although recent news indicates that the company has big plans for their product.

In a recent interview with the BBC, Sony chief executive Kaz Hirai revealed that developers are currently working on more than 100 new games for the VR headset.

Hirai added that the PlayStation VR is garnering a lot of support from third party developers, and that would seemingly bode well for the immediate and long term future of the new item.

Still, it's unclear just how much of an advantage the PlayStation VR may have over its competitors in terms of its games lineup, especially with few details coming out about that very topic.

Going back to Raines, GameStop's CEO also said that the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and PlayStation VR are all seemingly high quality products.

Raines even added that he believes VR will be a significant component of GameStop's future, according to a report posted on the company's website.

Raines said that the company still isn't relying on VR too heavily for now, but that figures to change in the future. He also said that in his mind, GameStop will soon become a major retailer of all things related to VR. He even revealed that the company is currently in talks with all VR developers in the hopes that they will soon make their products available inside GameStop stores.

GameStop's CEO added that they would be initiating awareness campaigns to get as many people onboard with VR as possible.

More news about the PlayStation VR and other VR headsets should be made available soon.
