The PlayStation VR has no official release date as of yet, but that has not stopped the rush of new games being announced for this particular piece of cutting-edge technology.

In fact, Sony's Oct. 27 appearance at Paris Games Week has given players a little glimpse into the future in terms of what games they can look forward to playing while fully immersed into their new digitally created surroundings, although more news could still be coming out with the event itself running through Nov. 1.

Arguably among the highest profile titles to be announced for the PlayStation VR is the upcoming "Tekken 7," according to Wired. For now, all that is known is that the game will be featuring PlayStation VR support. Fans will no doubt be looking forward to seeing how the fighting game might translate to the new technology.

Players can also expect some potentially very frightening nights when they finally get the chance to try out the upcoming "Until Dawn: Rush of Blood" that is expected to be available for the PlayStation VR. A horror game could offer developers unique opportunities to take advantage of the new technology available to them, and it could be interesting to see how that translates to "Until Dawn: Rush of Blood." Unfortunately, it's unclear whether "Rush of Blood" will be an actual sequel to the "Until Dawn" game released earlier this year, or if it qualifies more as a potential expansion or downloadable content (DLC) pack, according to The Verge.

The popular racing game franchise, "Gran Turismo," will also be playing around with PlayStation VR. "Gran Turismo Sport" will be offering support for the PlayStation VR, and that too could represent how the driving game genre ventures forward with the new tech that can now be utilized.

Other games that players will be able to enjoy on the PlayStation VR when they are finally ready include "Robinson: The Journey," "RIGS," and the reboot of the arcade title known as "Battlezone."
