'Pokemon Go' evolution tips, latest news: Evolving Seadra into Kingdra and Niantics big update

"Pokemon Go" just keeps getting bigger and bigger with the addition of the Generation 2 pokemon. Trainers can now enjoy collecting more pokemon and update their team. To be able to "catch 'em all," sometimes, trainers need to evolve certain types of Pokemon to get them. One of these pokemon is Kingdra, which can only be obtained through evolution.

Kingdra is a water dragon type Pokemon that can be evolved from a Seadra. It is the final evolution of the Pokemon Horsea. Kingdra is a special pokemon for many trainers because in the original Pokemon games, it is the only Dragon type pokemon introduced in Generation 2.

Before evolving the Pokemon Seadra to Kingdra, Trainers must need several items first. After choosing the Seadra of the player's choosing, the next step is to acquire a Dragon scale and 100 Seadra candy.

Obtaining a Dragon scale can be very difficult. Just like other evolutionary items in "Pokemon Go," trainers need to go to Pokestops to get them. However, different items can be found in each of these locations everyday. Players may find themselves going to several other Pokestops before they can find one.

To make this step a little easier, the same article suggests that trainers can do a Daily Bonus Streak to get the item. To do this, trainers only need to drop at a Pokestop everyday until the seventh day, when the trainer is sure to get an evolutionary item as a reward. After collecting both Dragon scale and 100 Seadra candy, trainers can now evolve their Seadra into a Kingdra.

After the addition of the Generation 2 Pokemon, Niantic is gearing up for the next big update. Express reports that the company confirmed that trainers can look forward to a new co-op experience and other gym-related updates. Many fans also believe that included in this big update is the highly-anticipated legendary pokemon event, although such remains a speculation. Niantic has yet to confirm whether the said event will be included in upcoming update.

"Pokemon Go" is available to be downloaded in all Android and IOS devices worldwide.
