Niantic continues to wow "Pokemon Go" users with constant updates that ensure fresh content every now and then, and as the year ends, the company is speculated to release a new patch that will contain several new features to the game such as new Pokemon.

The most recent "Pokemon Go" update has given gamers an easier time when it comes to capturing Pokemon. The last update has increased the spawn time of a Pokemon from 15 minutes up to 30 minutes, sometime even up to an hour. This means that gamers will have more time to spend catching a Pokemon before it despawns. However, it is said that the spawn times may differ depending on the gamer's current region.

Even though Niantic has recently released an update, the company will allegedly release another one just before the year ends. Speculations suggest that the Gen 2 patch for "Pokemon Go" will be released sometime in December, and that with it comes several Gen 2 Pokemon.

Furthermore, there have been leaks about the 3D models that will soon be applied to "Pokemon Go." The leaked 3D models are said to have come from the previous Pokemon in "Pokemon X and Y," and will be included in the "Pokemon Go" Gen 2 patch.

The leaked 3D models are for Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile. There are also leaked 3D models for their evolved counterparts including Meganium, Typhlosion, and Feraligatr. Aside from the leaked 3D models, word has also spread that these Pokemon will have combat points ranging from 1,024 up to 2,484 when not evolved, and combat point ranging from 1,066 up to 2,678 when evolved.

As of now, there is still no official news from Niantic whether the leaked 3D models will actually be included in the Generation 2 patch for "Pokemon Go." However, the company also didn't deny the recent rumors, making fans hopeful that they will soon get to enjoy the new Pokemon that will allegedly be added in the game.
