A handful of brand new Generation 3 Pokemon have finally made their way into the hit augmented-reality game "Pokemon Go." Fans all across the globe are excited, and to make things even better, all the eggs hatched during this limited time period, will contain a generation 3 Pokemon.

The announcement was made on Pokemon Go's Twitter page on Jan. 23.

The tweet read: "Get hatching, Trainers. For a limited time, every Egg you hatch will feature a Pokémon originally discovered in the Hoenn region." Aside from that, another Tweet that was posted on the same day, stated that 23 new Pokemon from the Hoenn region would now be available.

To make matters even more exciting, Pokemon GO also released super incubators to make egg hatching a less tedious task. Super Incubators reduce the number of kilometers a player needs to walk in order to hatch an egg by around 60 percent, meaning that with super incubators, players can hatch new Pokemon in less than half the usual time. Similar to the event, however, the super incubators are only available for a limited amount of time and they will be leaving the Pokemon Go store on Feb. 2.

Brand new Hoenn raid bosses have also been added to the game.

According to Express UK, the new raid bosses are Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza from Pokemon Emerald, Ruby, and Sapphire. The updates don't end there, players will also have a chance to capture new shiny Pokemon during this event.

Pokemon Go's last update was the introduction of a new event called Community Day. The Community Day event will be happening once a month, and will feature special Pokemon to catch alongside bonuses such increased stardust, increased experience points, more lures, and a handful of other items. The rare Pokemon that was made available during the Jan. 20 event was a surfing Pikachu. Meanwhile, no news regarding the February Pokemon has yet to be released.
