After more than a year since its release, fans can definitely expect a lot of updates to Niantic's "Pokemon GO" given the mountains of content they can add. This time around, they are now adding 50 more Pokemon from the Gen 3 series plus a weather-based gameplay.

There are four Pokemon that are only available in certain regions: Seviper, Zangoose, Plusle, and Minun. Both Plusle and Zangoose can only be seen in North America, South America, and Africa. On the other hand, the other two, Seviper and Minun can only be caught in Europe, Asia, and Australia.

This is not the first time the developers did this. After all, this is still part of the gameplay, encouraging trainers to actually travel to "catch 'em all." Although 50 were sure to have been added, it was not revealed to the public what these 50 Pokemon exactly are. Fortunately, according to Eurogamer, there are Reddit posts by loyal fans who have compiled the Pokemon available so far.

As for the game's new weather-based gameplay, it is pretty straightforward like playing the previous Pokemon games. The weather in "Pokemon GO" will be affected by the weather in the vicinity, adding to the game a more realistic feel. The weather will also affect the Pokemon in terms of combat power, stardust received, and the kind of Pokemon trainers will encounter, as per Express.co.uk.

There are other minor updates that were implemented as well. One to take note of is the change in storage. With the increase of Pokemon in the game, they have also increased the maximum storage of Pokemon by 500. Fans can then expect more Pokemon to be added to the game.

For those who are not familiar with the different generations of Pokemon, Gen 3 Pokemon are those from the Hoenn region, which were made popular by games Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald.
