Niantic Labs has announced another update coming to "Pokémon GO." This time, the developer is making some changes in the gym training feature of the breakout augmented reality game.

Currently, "Pokémon GO" only allows players to bring one Pokémon to battle in the gym. After the update, trainers should be able to bring up to six pocket monsters.

The update will also "temporarily" lower the combat points (CP) of the Pokémon being trained against during the session "to generally match your Pokémon's battle capabilities."

This "Pokémon GO" update should help players train their Pokémon more effectively, and it should also allow players in lower levels of the game to help their friendly gyms.

"No matter what your level, you can now have an impact on your team's Gym. Walk with your Buddy Pokémon to that nearby landmark and show your Team Leader that you can battle with the best," Niantic stated on its blog.

A day before this update was announced, Niantic also revealed a new "Pokémon GO" update which will increase the chances of actually finding a rare Pokémon.

Finding these creatures has always been a challenge that takes so much effort in order to happen in "Pokémon GO." Those days will be over soon when the new update for the game arrives.

Niantic will incorporate a new feature that endows players a "catch bonus" instead of just award points when they get medals for catching certain types of creatures. These bonuses should give players a higher chance to capture a rare Pokémon of a certain type.

"For example, as you reach a higher tier for the Kindler Medal, your bonus to catch Fire-type Pokémon such as Charmander, Vulpix and Ponyta increases," Niantic explains on its blog.

For Pokémon with multiple types, the average of the bonuses for each type (in Pidgey's case, Normal and Flying types) will be the bonus that players will receive.
