A lot of things are happening in "Pokémon Go" this Halloween season, one of which is the big announcement that a new event will take place.

Confirmed by trainers a few days ago, the "Pokémon Go" Shiny event will run until Nov. 2. It can be joined by players participating in the Halloween 2017 event. In line with this, a new Pokémon will be introduced — Duskull, who now has a new color scheme. The pocket monster can now be caught and hatched in the game.

There has been a lot of sightings of Shiny Duskulls in the wild along with Shiny Sableyes, who was the first Shiny Pokémon introduced as part of the mobile game's Halloween event. Both are available as 10 KM eggs as well as in the wild.

Trainers will have a chance of spotting a Shiny Duskull, with its appearance increasing during the Halloween event.

Another big news coming to the game is about the Gen 3's release date. Players of "Pokémon Ruby" and "Pokémon Sapphire" will have to wait a bit longer for the release of these pocket monsters though. Niantic released a statement saying that instead of doing a full launch, they will be doing a staggered launch starting December.

A new development has also been confirmed by the team and it will focus on the improvement on how invites work on Raid Battles, which will now require an invite for the trainers to join the Exclusive Raid Battle.

For a trainer to get an invite, they must have successfully finished a raid or defeated a Raid Boss in a Gym where the battles take place. These invitations will also have advanced notification of when an Exclusive Battle is to happen, which has now been set for 24 hours.

Players are expecting these changes to happen by the end of the "Pokémon Go" Halloween event.
