The GUCT is a mess of complicated formulas used to determine the Pokemon species as well as its throw bonus, the type of Pokeball used to capture it and more.

The Pokemon Go Hub's calculator simplified the process by automating it, which saves the players from endless hours of boring work computing the capture rate for each Pokemon in the game.

It is worth noting that the trainer should first fill out the form with information regarding the specific Pokemon, their trainer level, as well as the medal bonuses they received from the Pokemon type they chose.
