As reported by IGN, The Pokemon Company held their first panel at Hall H during this year's San Diego Comic Con and it is stated that this is the first time a video game panel has ever had the honor of filling the large Hall H area. During this panel, the company, along with Niantic Labs' John Hanke, made several key announcements regarding "Pokemon Go."

According to Hanke, the game is currently only at 10 percent of what they want the final build to be. He did state that they are working on several new features such as trading Pokemon between players. Unfortunately, Hanke was not able to give a definitive release date but he did explain that they are waiting for the servers to stabilize before releeasing this feature.

Other mentioned features are Pokemon Centers, which were used as healing and trading spots in the original games. Their function in "Pokemon Go" were not explained. Hanke also stated that they are toying with the concept of implementing customizable PokeStops, Pokemon breeding and the addition of more Pokemon to the game's roster.

Hanke did state that not all of these features might make it into the game as they are still in the development phase. Some features, such as trading, are already being worked on and are merely waiting for the servers to become fully functional or for the game to launch in other territories while others are just ideas that might be scrapped later on.

During the panel the team leaders for "Pokemon Go" have been unveiled and the images have also been shared on the official "Pokemon Go" Twitter account. The team leader for Team Mystic is known as Blanche, the leader of Team Valor is Candela and the leader for Team Instinct is known as Spark. Prior to this reveal players could only see their silhouettes.
