The celebration of the "Pokémon" franchise's 20th year in the industry continues, as Nintendo and The Pokémon Company announce a number of new bonuses and limited-edition exclusives for its fans.

In a post on the official website, the Pokémon Bank announced that "Pokémon" game players will get a chance to capture a Legendary Pokémon for their collection via the bank's Pokémon Link feature. This means that hardcore players of "Pokémon X," "Pokémon Y," and their equivalents "Pokémon Omega Ruby" and "Pokémon Alpha Sapphire" will add three Legendary Pokémon to their collection – Regirock, Regice, and Registeel.

However, the announcement added that while there are three Legendary Pokémon per Pokémon Bank customer, each Pokémon will be sent individually. There will also be one allotted set per Pokémon Bank account, even if the gamers have multiple copies of the different "Pokémon" game titles.

While players can already get Regirock, Regice, and Registeel in the current-gen "Pokémon" games, the three Legendary Pokémon from the Pokémon Bank are special versions of the characters. According to GameSpot, the bonus Pokémon set will already be on their Level 50s, and each one will have a Hidden Ability already unlocked.

The Hidden Ability feature for the Legendary Pokémon will be special per character, as the abilities are not found in the current-gen "Pokémon" games.

The Legendary Pokémon set from the Pokémon Bank can be redeemed until Oct. 31.

Meanwhile, players can also get a chance to get another Pokémon. The Mythical Pokémon Celebi is available for this month as a Mystery Gift, and players can redeem the Pokémon until March 24.

The bonus giveaways and mystery gifts are part of the celebrations of the franchise's 20th anniversary. Aside from the freebies, there are also new "Pokémon" game titles scheduled to release for this year.
