'Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire' Master Ball redeemable until Saturday

Two events for the global Pokemon audience will be ending at the start of August.

Pokemon observer site Serebii reminds players of "Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" that they have until Saturday to redeem Master Balls.

The Master Balls are reward gifts for this year's Japan Cup, held in the early months of 2015. Those who participated using the Japanese versions of "Pokemon Omega Ruby" and "Alpha Sapphire" in the Cup will receive a Master Ball gift. The gift will come through a serial code, which needs to be sent via the Global Link feature. The redeeming period started last May 12 and those who participated in the Cup but still have not redeemed the gift will have until Aug. 1 to get the rewards via the Mystery Gift option in Global Link.

Meanwhile, another gift receiving period is nearing its end, as it was also announced that the rewards for the ranked players in the recent Mega Blaziken competitive stage battles can only be redeemed until Aug. 3.

It is expected that many of the participants have yet to redeem their rewards. Since there was a scattering of players globally — 50,000 in Japan, 20,000 in North America, and 12,000 in Europe — the rewards distribution hit a snag when players reported a bug that blocks the rewards and items from being received.

Supposedly, the bug has already been patched, and ranked players who have already redeemed their rewards will most likely get their Blazikenite and other rewards such as Mega Stone for Blaziken between now and Aug. 3.

Those who were not in the top ranking per each region will also receive an item, a Complexity -1. In addition, players who have participated but did not get into the rankings will also receive a Jewel reward, which can also be redeemed by checking in.
