'Pokémon Omega Ruby' and 'Alpha Sapphire': Codes for Serperior, Emboar, and Samurott

The Pokémon Company is giving players of "Pokémon Omega Ruby" and "Alpha Sapphire" a chance to snag legendary creatures Serperior, Emboar, and Samurott via a new distribution event. Pokémonn trainers can go to the official Pokémon website to get the special passwords to unlock the said Pokémon, which have one Hidden Ability each.

Serperior was the first to come out. The grass-type creature was made obtainable since Jan. 22 with the password POKEMON497. Serperior comes with the handy ability called Contrary, which depletes the stats of its opponent. Among its moves are Leaf Storm, Hold Back, Wring Out, and Giga Drain.

Next up is Emboar, which will be available to steal on Jan. 29. The bulky bipedal Pokémon comes with Reckless as its hidden ability. That should make its attack a boost to give its enemy a bigger damage. Conveniently, this move can minimize the harm it receives. For one, Emboar can lower Flare Blitz damage by 20 percent.

By Feb. 5, players will get quadruped blue Samurott. Unlike the first two, the sea lion-like Pokémon will be available from the Pokémon Trainer Club newsletter. IB Times reminds everyone to sign up for the magazine before Jan. 31 to acquire the code as this Pokémon will be a real heavy-duty companion to have. This is because of its Shell Armor that resists critical hits. Razor Shell, Hold Back, Confide and Hydro Pump make up its moveset.

Players have until Nov. 30 to take advantage of the codes and get the awesome Pokémon. Although the codes are yet to be plastered in the Pokémon website, iDigital Times believes that Emboar may be snatched through the code POKEMON500 while players can try out POKEMON503 for Samurott.

Upon getting a hold of the codes, players can key them in on the eShop at the Mystery Gift section of the "Pokémon Omega Ruby" and "Alpha Sapphire" screen. Unfortunately, it is heavily-rumored that the codes will not work outside of Japan. Media outlets hope for the opposite.
